Highways and Road Closures
The Caltrans lane closure feed, last updated 5:00 a.m. on 09/05/2026, lists no active lane, ramp or full closures on US-101, SR-27 (Topanga Canyon) or other state routes within Woodland Hills, Canoga Park, West Hills or Chatsworth. Elsewhere in the region, Caltrans lists a full closure of southbound I-5 from Paxton Street to the Golden State Freeway due to an accident investigation, with no estimated reopening time; a lane closure on westbound SR-134 from I-5 to Victory Blvd/Riverside Dr for emergency work, also with no estimated reopening time; and a lane closure on westbound SR-2 from I-405 to Bundy Dr for road maintenance. In the Antelope Valley, one of three northbound SR-14 lanes is closed from Avenue S to Palmdale Blvd for emergency work, along with the northbound Avenue S on-ramp.
City Street Closures — data limited today

LADWP's outage feed lists two active electric outages, neither in the West Valley. In Chinatown, 2,460 customers are affected with crews working and an estimated restoration time of 7:30 a.m. today. In Lincoln Heights, 348 customers are affected with crews working and an estimated restoration time of 5:30 a.m. today. No outages are reported in Woodland Hills, Canoga Park, West Hills or Chatsworth.
