The National Weather Service has a Heat Advisory in effect for the Western San Fernando Valley from 10 AM Tuesday, August 18, through 8 PM Thursday, August 20, with highs of 92 to 105 and peak heat expected Wednesday and Thursday. LADWP reports no active power or water outages in its public outage feeds. Caltrans District 7 lists one lane closure inside the West Valley — a Northbound 101 closure between Winnetka and De Soto avenues — while LADOT's traffic closures page currently publishes no itemized list.
