What we collect
Information you submit. When you use the submission form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), the message/details you provide, an optional photo or media link, and whether you've attested that you have rights to any photo/media you submitted.
Analytics information. This site does not currently run any analytics or tracking script. If and when one is added (only after you've had the chance to accept or reject it via the cookie banner), it would collect generic usage information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, and browser/device type. This section will be updated to name the specific tool once one is chosen and installed.
Bot-detection information. The submission form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes some technical/device information (perCloudflare's own privacy policy) solely to distinguish human visitors from automated bots.
Why we collect it
We use this information to respond to submissions (business tips, event info, news tips, corrections, and story ideas), to operate the site, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

- Cloudflare — bot-detection for the submission form (Turnstile), as above.
